Cornerstone OnDemand, a specialist in adaptive cloud-based HR software solutions, backed by Clearlake Capital Group, is to acquire SumTotal, a human capital management SaaS provider, from Skillsoft.

This announcement follows Cornerstone’s recent acquisition of EdCast, which has fueled the company’s strategy to create an open platform for people development, growth, and mobility.
