Gide has advised Rivadis Group, which specialises in cosmetics, on the sale to L'Oréal of the Société Thermes de Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, which operates the Saint-Gervais-les-Bains spa establishment as part of a public service delegation contract, and of its cosmetics and skincare production and commercialisation business, under the brand name Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc.

For 20 years, the Rivadis Group has created and developed a range of cosmetics integrating thermal spring water.

This transaction is part of a corporate strategy to reposition the group and to concentrate its resources on the development of its own brands, Rivadouce, Auriège and Milton.

Gide’s team included Jean-Gabriel Flandrois (partner) and Morgan Maréchal on M&A aspects; Emmanuel Vital-Durand (partner) on public and administrative law aspects; and Jean-Hyacinthe de Mitry (partner) on intellectual property aspects.
