In private equity portfolios, cybersecurity’s value remains skewed towards the symbolic over the operational – not quite the proverbial tick-box, but certainly a label to inspire confidence. This research explores how cybersecurity can be more than a preservation measure, even a springboard for growth, and whether firms prefer fund-level frameworks or unique plans per company.
